Project Reveal: Stonewater

I am so excited to share with your our newest project, Project Stonewater! We have loved working with these clients to curate a space that is both comfortable, livable, and classic.

This interior design project is a serene and sophisticated expression of transitional style, executed with a palette of soft neutrals, natural textures, and understated elegance. The living room sets the tone with its balanced symmetry, centered around a white plaster fireplace flanked by custom built-in cabinetry in a muted sage-grey. Above the mantel, a landscape painting and textural Roman shades bring in earthy, organic tones, further enriched by curated décor and plush seating in creamy ivory and taupe. The gentle layering of textures—from the boucle pillows to the natural wood coffee table—creates a space that feels both timeless and inviting.

Moving from the living room into the dining area, continuity is maintained through the color palette and material choices. The dining room is anchored by a sculptural wood table surrounded by cane-backed chairs, all resting on a subtly textured rug. A modern chandelier in a warm brass finish mirrors the light fixture in the living space, tying the two areas together with effortless cohesion. Floor-length ivory curtains frame the space, allowing diffused light to pour in and highlight the greenery and fresh fruit centerpiece—details that echo the natural elements found throughout the home.

In the kitchen, clean lines meet classic charm. Crisp white cabinetry with brass hardware offers a fresh and timeless look, while the soft grey island adds contrast and warmth. A white marble countertop and backsplash with a subtle hexagonal pattern inject quiet sophistication. The use of natural wood is echoed here too, through the woven bar stools at the island, which invite casual gatherings and create visual harmony with the adjacent dining and living areas. Oversized dome pendant lights in a muted stone finish hang overhead, providing a sculptural touch that doesn’t overpower the space.

A close-up of the reading nook reveals the true attention to detail in this project. A plush camel-hued chair paired with a coordinating ottoman sits beside a round marble side table, grounded by a tall, arched floor lamp. The styling here is simple yet deliberate: a soft throw, a patterned pillow, and a delicate flower arrangement bring life to the corner. This nook not only adds visual charm but also underscores the design’s focus on livability and comfort. Every vignette in the space feels thoughtfully placed, contributing to the overall sense of calm and cohesion.

Altogether, the design of this home is a masterclass in restraint, warmth, and timeless elegance. Each space flows effortlessly into the next, unified by a neutral color palette, curated organic accents, and a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary design elements. It’s a home that doesn’t shout for attention but rather invites you in quietly—offering beauty in simplicity and thoughtful craftsmanship in every detail.
