Wild Elm: Hunter's Room

Hunter’s room brings in such a fun, elevated energy.

We wanted this room to feel more refined, yet still true to the personality of a kid who’s passionate about sports. A deeper wall color sets a sophisticated foundation, creating a warm backdrop for layered textiles, natural woods, and thoughtfully chosen details that make the room distinctly his.

This vignette shows how the textures really play together—the leather poufs, the framed artwork, and the simple accessories.

The wall-mounted vintage basketballs bring instant personality to the room, creating a bold focal point above the bed. Layered pillows and earthy tones soften the darker palette, adding warmth and balance.

This angle highlights how well the custom bed from The Sofa Shoppe complements the space—it adds a pop of color, a touch of shape, and keeps the room from feeling too heavy. The bedding is layered but simple, and the patterned rug brings in that extra bit of texture the room needed.

The wood ceiling adds immediate warmth, softening the contrast of the darker walls and creating an easy sense of harmony in the room. It’s the detail that pulls everything together, adding texture and depth in an intentional way.
